I have wondered if Bruschi hasn't been placed on IR yet so he can walk out on the field in front of the home crowd one last time. Tedy walks out, calls the toin coss and leaves the game behind.

I know BB is not a sentimental guy but Bruschi is Bruschi.

No way BB is holding a spot on the 53 or using a spot on the 44 active players to be sentimental.

BUT if BB doesn't have anyone he can see adding to the active 44 that would actually give the team a better chance to win, why put Bruschi on IR and have a 52 man roster.
