There were so many errors in that last period due to fatigue. We were setting Toronto up better than they were but Raskl stood tall and confident.
Jagr is looking very old ... If I were Claude I would just use him for spot duty and power plays.
Krecji is a great example that being a superior athlete is more about brains than anything else.

jagr looks good to me. hes slow now but when he has the puck hes always a threat to score or set someone up. plus teams struggle to take the puck away from him. picking him up will pay off with him scoring a big goal soon.

Of all the matchups they could have gotten in the playoffs this was the most favorable for them. They should have beaten this team in no worse than 5 games and yet another game 7. They deserve to lose this series and if they do they need to make some changes. The ironic part the Krecji\Lucic\Horton line which sucked all season has carried them or I'd be saying start there. As it stands Jagr is a given not to be resigned but I think Kelly, Peverly, Campbell and Ferrence could all be upgraded. I think locally the talent on this team has been over-rated because of the cup run two years ago which was largely due to one of the best goalie performances in recent cup history.

I don't think they'll get rid of Claude but they need to fix the power play and find a way to take the training wheels off of Seguin while keeping him somewhat defensively responsible. He didn't take that jump this year that guys like Tavares and Stamkos did at the same point in their careers. I think it's because he misses one defensive assignment and Claude sits him which stifles his offensive progress. There has to be a happy medium.

Wow. They looked so flat for the first 15 minutes of that third. Really sloppy and languid. Just not crisp hockey at all. Let's see if they could pull at his out.
