This one from Joe Thomas is both hilarious and true:

Joe Thomas on Tom Brady's return: 'We don't have any film on him'

The fact that Tom hasn't played this year and has some new targets (and playbook) on disposal (Bennett, Hogan, Mitchell, maybe even Foster or Derby) actually could be under-the-radar advantage for the Pats. IIRC Tom did click with Mitchell nicely in the preseason.

ps
In the video nice take on Tom and Deflategate.

As if that's going to make one whit of difference.

I can send them some Italian footage if they think it would help.

If my wife should happen to contact you behind my back, please send her pics of Peter Dinklage's last vacation instead. Thank you in advance.

Joe Thomas seems like the perfect Patriot. Too bad he played for the Browns his whole career. That guy deserves to win something.

He is stuck over there. There is no way the Browns will cut him due to his value but then again doubt that any contender would give the Browns what they hope to get in return with that contract. Too bad.

16 years of film doesnt count?

Sure it does. Ask BB how much though.
I bet Hue wouldn't mind some of this year's film.

No film on brady from this year...yeah. But what about 2001-2015? Joe thomas is just playing the underdog card.

If I recall correctly, Denver tried to trade for him last season and the results confirm what you wrote above. Cleveland asked for the moon, and Denver moved on.

I think the Browns wanted two first round picks which is crazy in combination with the contract Thomas has.

I found film

Scout’s Take: Why the return of Tom Brady means all sorts of questions for Cleveland defensive game plan

According to former NFL scout Dan Hatman, the Browns have to make a choice when it comes to prepping for the New England offense: Rely on the game-film of the first four weeks — with Jimmy Garoppolo and Jacoby Brissett under center? Or do you go back and study Brady’s performance and tendencies last year?

“The difference here is the return of Brady, which adds another layer of difficulty for the staff in Cleveland. When you go to game plan, do you study what they’ve been doing all year, and then attempt to predict from there? Or do you just go back and look at the old film of Brady from 2015 and try and plan accordingly? Does any of what they saw from the Patriots over the first four weeks — and given their ability to be versatile — be predictive in terms of what they might do Sunday? “

man, i would love to see joe thomas protect the GOAT'S blindside.

film versus no film.....so who's better off, the browns not having film or the bengals with the film of the browns game?

against the browns you have 2 versions of the Pats offense......the first one which pretty much sealed the browns fate by 3 min into the 2nd quarter, and the 2nd one where the Pats just played patty-cake for the rest of the game....there's nothing to go by.....even the line play, as atkins and peko are nothing like shelton

I guess the bengals get to understand what's coming, but they still have to show up
