Broncos moving Jeudy

Our offense is the WORST in the league. What could the potential downside be of bringing in a guy EVERYONE was chomping at the bit for during the offseason? You know who has an awesome offense? Miami, You know what they did? They brought in dumpster fire chase claypool.

You know who has a good offense? The eagles. You know what they did? Brought in the corpse of Julio Jones.

The patriots are bottom feeders with an opportunity to buy low on a player that has history with Mac. Why not take it?
The only downside is what you give up to get him. A 5th would be worth it, there is a little over a half a season, and Jeudy is going to want to get paid, even though he’s been less than stellar to this point in his career. The Patriots aren’t winning a Lombardi this year, so giving away good picks for a rental isn’t a smart move.

And he needs to be paid 12 million next year irrespective of performance .

And we have 6 million and 10 million of dead cap on Parker and JuJu if we are not able to trade them . And no Henry and Bourne on contract .

And on OLine no Onwenu and no T brown on contract .

I think we need to move the dead weight juju before we can do anything on offense.

It’s a colossal mistake to not re-sign our younger players that are playing well. Whatever magical plan BB thinks he has…he’s wrong. Take the keys away and let someone else pick and re-sign the groceries. Everyone sees he’s the problem in that regard.

Agree. I think Onwenu needs to be paid as RT. Not many good ones hitting free agency. Same goes with brown . Make that your priority . I care less about Dugger tbh . Peppers , Phillips and mapu should be a decent group and with JC back here we should be a force on secondary with JC, Gonzo , Jack and Jonathan Jones .

And Bourne needs to be paid . Don't cheap out like we did with Meyers. If Mac is starting next year we need his safety valves in Bourne and Henry/gesicki. Bourne should be good for 10 -12 million AAV. Pay the beast !

Since pharaoh brown is coming along nicely I would be open to brown and gesicki tandem if Henry prices us out.

They need to move away from 2 TE sets if they want more speed on the field.

It’s not the pick, it’s the huge contract next year for a guy that appears to have a very inflated opinion of himself, so will likely walk in free agency from whoever trades for him if they don’t give him stupid money.
For free he might not be a good deal.

A.J. he's a diva WR that's how they act his numbers have been decent considering his QB situation. I think Jeudy is much better than regarded. I have evaluated a lot of WR's and have more hits than misses. I really like Jeudy and don't think he's reach his potential yet. That 5th year Option shouldn't be a sticking point considering some of the Contracts we have given out. The Patriots are in a good Draft position right now and he won't cost us a First Rounder. For a Team who Stink @ Drafting WR can't be too picky.

It’s a stupid cost for a 1 year rental if a mediocre player.

If you trade for Jeudy, you're trading for potential, clearly. It's a risky move, particularly for the Patriots, particularly because he's an outside-the-hash-marks receiver. He's got all the "tools," but so does Jalen Reagor. I haven't watched the Broncos this year - maybe it's how they're using or not using him, but he's got fewer yards than Jonnu Smith.
Is he a missing piece on the Pats? I have no faith in Thornton at this point. Reagor? Boutte can't see the field.

To me, the Pats are thick with 500-700 yard WRs. Would Jeudy be adding just another guy to that mix? Personally, I'd be working hard to re-sign at least two of Brown, Gesicki, and Henry (Brown and at least one of the others, because Brown is more complete in the blocking department), and Bourne. And I'd be playing Reagor, Boutte, and Thornton as two of my top 3 with Pop. See what they got.
This isn't going to be a homerun team with Mac QB'ing. That's okay if you've got good TEs and one or two guys who can break those underneath routes into homerun territory - you know, like Boutte did in PS...the first Pats WR in years who's shown that kind of ability, but he made a rookie mistake and so now can't play anymore until his third year...when we'll be wondering if we can afford to keep him.

Why are we talking about being buyers on TUE? Formula is simple:

Pats lose SUN = SELL
Pats win SUN = SELL

Pats lose SUN = SELL = Pats win SUN
