And they are tied for 2nd last in turnovers, their best safety is hurt. They also have nobody to cover Gronk or Hernandez. I really see no chance the Broncos have of winning unless tebow magically turns in to a precision passer of Brady turns into tebow...

And nobody saw Denver beating Pitt.....and nobody saw Seattle beating New Orleans and nobody saw Kansas City beating Green Bay and 4 years ago nobody saw the Giants beating New England

.....it goes on and on

Unless it's death or taxes,it's not guaranteed.

Turnovers can change a game.

NE can beat themselves in this game and Denver is going to need help from them to win it....but it's not an impossible task.

Hmmm...I've seen this offense get shut down before..Nothing is guaranteed especially in the playoffs. . Lets just hope for a win and no injuries. I still think its going to be a close game..Pats seemingly never blow teams out at home on prime time...

many people saw denver winning last week, and NO wasn't unbeatable least season either. But if the Broncos can't pick brady off or even stop him, what possible way can they win? The Giants stopped Brady and the Chiefs stopped Rodgers... the big question is if Denver can stop Brady... only 9 picks in the regular season is pretty pitiful though considering arrington alone only had 2 less than all broncos.

Solder and Light need good games as well.....Dumervil and Miller are no slouches coming off the edge.

Brady needs to keep that jersey clean to put up big numbers.

Bill Belichick 101: What happens yesterday has no influence on today.

We're 0-0. Whoever executes better on game day will win. We're in the NFL. This is not little league anymore. Both sides are getting paid to play. There is more than one way to win a football game.

There is also 22,000 reasons why Denver will go all out to play hard to win

The winning teams players each receive an extra $22K with a win this weekend.

there are many ways, but honestly if the pats dont turn the ball over and brady has an average day, what will keep them from winning? the broncos will have to play perfect to win while the Pats could probably get away with some mistakes. they aren't guarenteed to win, but if the pats keep their head straight it shouldn't be a big problem.

You can almost say that about any playoff team that gets the Home Field.

How many teams in the playoffs at home don't turn the ball over and still lose?

I bet it's not many.

Teams that have lost at home in the playoffs is probably something like 80% reason being they coughed up the ball a few too many times.

Turnovers are the key reason why teams lose in January .....that is without question.

Hit the nail on the head honestly. Its that simple.

In a turnover free game, if both teams bring their A game, Pats will still edge out the Broncos. It's the Pats game to lose. It's how they lost their previous playoff games. Turnovers. Can't beat ourselves this time around.

Very true, luckily we face a team that is one of the worst at creating turnover, so we will have to hope we don't make bad turnover like that last few seasons. By now I think they learned their lesson though...

The Broncos were doing fine against New England the first time, until they started turning it over. The Broncos (w/Tebow starting) have yet to lose a game this season when they've been even or ahead in the turnover battle. Saying that they have no chance is just silly.

Agreed. They are a good team and they have a very good quarterback, and leader, regardless of what some selective stats people cling on to point about Tebow indicate. They also have a very good coach who play the Patriots very well, have beaten the Patriots before, and understands how to match up and throw the Patriots rhythm off in order for his team to get an advantage. Fox is not going to try to go toe to toe with the Pats. He's going to slow down the game, try to keep the game short, and make it an ugly, back and forth, inconsistent game because that's when his team has the advantage.

Whoever succeeds in forcing the other team to play their game and protects the ball will win.

The bad part in all this is with all this negativity towards Tebow's playing and the Broncos, is that in the event the Patriots do lose, not only will the Tebow "miracle" crap keep going instead of giving the kid his fair share of credit, but then the "Pats can't win in the playoffs" talk and the "has Brady lost his touch?" headlines will flood the media.

So basically, as I said 2 weeks ago. The Pats have no choice. They HAVE to win. It's the only way to bring sense back into the world. Experience beats youth. Better, more consistent team, holds and proves why it matters in the NFL. Brady gets to face off another high powered offense and consistent team in Green Bay, hopefully, and Tebow will be just fine once they have a full off season to build around him. Then he can "shock" the world when they realize the guy can throw just fine with an effective passing offense and more experience in reading NFL defenses. Not to mention, Tom will hurry up and get his much needed 4th ring by beating Aaron Rodgers and end another debate

Don't play Foxball this weekend Patriots and ...just win! Thanks.

I agree that turnovers will probably be the difference maker, but I don't agree with the argument that Denver can't win unless we win the turnover battle.

The fact is: 4 weeks ago, we were dominating the game against NE until an unfortunate series of turnovers combined with some poor game-time decisions at the end of the 1st half by Fox gave momentum and the lead to New England.

In other words, Denver matches up better in a game with no turnovers; in fact, Tebow and the offense may be resilient enough to even survive 1 turnover, provided it doesn't come too late in the game...like during Tebow Time when we're driving to take a 34-30 lead with 10 seconds remaining.

Eff that. Denver was at home, it was warm, God was in a good mood. Now the game is in Foxborough, it'll be cold and God's busy helping Santorum in South Carolina.

To say they have no chance is extremely naive but thwe train all of a sudden is getting very over-hyped once again....and it's fitting given the fact we ended 'Tebow-Mania' in the regular season and we have a chance to put it to bed once more.

The Steelers were very banged up, and they're old. Anyone who said Steelers were outright favourites last Sunday were flat out wrong in hindsight, and even before the game.

Clarke was never going to get the nod with his health issues at high altitude and Tomlin was wise to rest him; in hindsight I think he should have show similar caution with Big Ben who was playing hurt in this game once more...a couple of hits was all it took to really aggravate him and it showed in the second quarter....he blatantly got the injection at half time.

Then look at their O Line; Pouncey was out, three of their projected starters were limited and banged up all week! Legursky who had missed time recently was forced from his natural position at guard to play Center, forcing Kemoeatu to start at Guard. Starks left the game at tackle in the second quarter.

Keisel and Hampton were out oft he game by half time, leaving their starting Nose and DE out of the game for a big chunk of the first half and all the second.

Mendenhall was out...and you had a backup running behind a patched up O line...who still had a great deal of success against a Denver defense which is highly overrated, played some easy offenses and, when it has had to play a top team, has surrendered around 40 every time! Whilst Denver's D never got enough credit for the wins they did get, that doesn't mean it's a top defense. It really isn't...although you cannot underestimate the pressure they can get with that front 7.

This, combined with home field, and a hobbled Ben led to the Broncos having a legit chance. They always did. The Steelers had been struggling offensively for 2 or 3 weeks beforehand and there was always cause for concern playing at high altitude in Denver with an old and banged up team that they could have problems.

With that, they nearly came back too to win the game!

Don't underestimate this team, because you will pay for it, but I think we match up so well with these guys. Spikes and Chung being back (both should be fully fit now) will have huge impacts on our run defense improving...it dropped off with the loss of those two and Carter setting the edge at DE). We came up with the blueprint to stop this team after the first Quarter in Denver and I think our D will have a good game.

The Pats are getting healthy when it counts...which is what most people said we would be banking on. Things seem, touch wood, to be coming together. This year is beginning to have a good feel to it..having every player at practice yesterday was huge!

No question that Denver dominated play for the 1st quarter. After that it was all New England. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on your perspective) the Pats have been slow starters for numerous games the 2nd half of the year. Unless something odd happens the Pats should be able to score fairly easily against the Denver defense. To me the game hinges on the Pats defense. If Denver can sustain multiple long drives throughout the game then I think it will be close late and they will have a chance to pull it out late. If not, this game should be at least a 2 touchdown game. amazing how 2 weeks ago in an absolute must win game at home the Bronocos managed all of 3 points yet now Tebow and the game have it all figured out.
