OK, it isn't exactly Patriots related, but I found this on a Broncos messageboard and thought it was worth sharing.

They have alreay annoited Cutler as the next Elway/Montana out here. Simply amazing. The guy plays college ball at Vandy and beats up on some scrubs in pre-season and they practically have him in Canton already.

This is Jake's last season in Denver at any rate.

Cutler is going to be doomed by high expectations. Plummer got them to the AFC title game, so if Cutler can't get them past that point (something even a prolific passer like Manning has never done) he'll be considered a bust.

I think Cutler does have a good head on his shoulders, which will be strange considering his team is being led by a fiery man-boy right now. But who knows how he'll do in pressure situations, whether he will flourish or crack.

I don't know if fans can see this coming but the Jake/Jay debate will be bad for the locker room and it will be ludicrous if the Snake gets injured. Starting next year Denver will revert back to mediocrity for a couple of seasons before returning to form.
