This team has so few assetts
Can not just give them away
I totally get how bad the coaching staff was. However I’m not going too state 100 percent that Maye will be great or stop throwing picks. I’m probably 90 percent on the side he will because of the new coaching staff. This morning I read on the Athletic Pats section last season draft analysis on Maye, number one concern at UNC was he was wreckless with the ball. I’m sure Josh and Vrabel have already had this discussion with him.I don't think enough people understand just how bad the scenario was last season with the coaching and organization dysfunction.... To have a 22 year old come in with no OL, no OC, no HC and do what he was able to was just utterly impressive. Most rookies would have folded. His potential is top 5.. Drake works his ass off and wants to be great.
He now has the coaching to help him be on his way..
Lol'z.
A 5th. Even I thought a 4th. Milton and 7th for a 5th.
Guess none of us know what the hell we are talking about when it comes to the value of a backup QB.
Because he'll be throwing more, he may throw more picks in 2025 but I'm pretty confident his INT % will decrease. He threw a pick once every 34 pass attempts which is not great. If he can get to 10 INTs for 500 attempts that would be spectacular.I totally get how bad the coaching staff was. I agree. I thought Milton and a 7th for a 4th and a 6th. Clearly, I also do not know what I am talking about.Agreed, they should've gotten a fourth for him. What I don't get is kicking in s seventh, as if they needed to sweeten the pot.
Your right. The TOs were an issue and Drake even acknowledged himself saying he was trying to hard to make a play... that's one of the many things I love about the guy his abilities to recognize his faults and take accountability..not go cry in his locker like another former QB we had...I totally get how bad the coaching staff was. I appreciate your post SB1.. Davios on me!Milton is a #3 QB. You take what they got for him in a trade every single time.
What do you think the better offer was? If it’s a 4th, that’s insane to pass up over Dallas’ offer. But what if the better offer was the Eagles’ 5th rounder (Schultz said they were an interested team) at 168 versus the actual Dallas 5th round compensatory pick at 171? Is it really worth getting worked up about that difference? Until we know what the offer was, I’m going to pause judgement on that aspect.i still can't believe they refused a better offer. unreal !
