If she was an adult and he a minor and the laws of that state say it's a crime then it's a crime. He went along with it willingly so he aided her in the crime.

"Consensual" sex with a minor IS rape. Statutory rape is still rape. If statutory rape is committed, the person under the age limit is the automatically victim, and NOT an accomplice. This stands whether the under age individual mislead the adult intentionally or not.

Please give a link to ANY case or verdict where the under aged person was charged with being an accomplice to their own rape.

All this is just Goodell making it quite clear that he needs to cut the crap. If anything more comes out of this little chat I would be thouroghly amazed. This lets the bible-belt dolts think Goodell gives two ****s (probably high-fives Spikes for bagging a nice piece of tail) about what happened, and lets Spikes know he has to watch everything he says and does as a prominent figure in society. Seriously, this is the NFL. What next, league fines for forgetting to say your nightly prayers? 15 yard conduct penalties for glaring at opponents?
