Brady's Wednesday press conference -- whoa!

a lot of the time I see pats fans belittling other teams in our division about how some game against us is their superbowl -- like that bills game, recently.

it's starting to sound like fortunes have changed so much that this has become our superbowl.
it's really kind of sad --- that blowout last year was great, but I'd really rather see the pats win when the money's on the table.

Not for me. It's a regular season game, albeit a divisional one against a rival. I don't think we've had a "SB type" regular season game in a long time.

The best way to really p!ss off a mouth like Cromagnon is to ignore him. He's saying this stuff to try and get a rise out of TFB and the team. Just ignoring him is even better than responding. Hopefully, he'll be so upset that he pulls a Seymour and costs his team 30 yards or more in penalties. Points would be even better.
You're absolutely right, Gwedd. I'd much rather see Cromarie cough up 30 points to the Pats than 30 yards, if at all possible. Think of it as Alphonse Smith Redux.

I for one didn't place much importance on that blowout last season because the Jesters lost their starting safety that Wednesday and so their D couldn't adjust in a short notice. So, my celebration after that resounding W was muted.

Even if we sweep them in the regular season 100-0 (ok, over two games ), I will no doubt be happy but also understand that it is after all two games in the regular season, albeit division games.

So, no, I do not consider this as a SB.

I consider this as the first of the two - hopefully three, if both teams meet in the playoffs - 'chance to prove' games this seaon against the Jesters in which I hope we payback Cromartie and Ryan's verbal smearing of Brady by thrashing them on the field every game.

I love that Brady is focused while the other guys are trash talking like they are 4-0. It didn't help in the playoffs last year, but I think the Pats may have been a little overconfident after crushing the Jets 45-3 a month earlier. This time. Brady wants to embarrass the Jets.

I don't know why anyone would care what Antonio Cromartie said about them.

Brady's got his game face on, and so do the Pats. SMY has tweeted that Pats will be in full pads for today's practice.

That New York reporter was trying to get him to say something, he did not bite got annoyed at the repeated questions from that guy and left the room.

I'm sure the local folks in the room went up to that idiot later and thanked him for making Brady leave the room.

That being said, he did not seem like he was in a good mood the second he walked up there.

agreed, you can even extend that to Tuesday Morning on WEEI. He sounded like he was in a fowl mood then too.

A lot of times I feel for Brady. He is starting to show the weight of having to carry this team. Any person, no matter who it is, is gonna be sooner or later affected by this.

What I got out of those two days....we be needing some pass defense help, sooner rather than later.

He probably won't say much of anything the rest of the year in a presser. Has no reason to anyways. What the press wants doesn't matter. They just want him to say something so they can blow it out of proportion.

kind of reminds me of Dexter Morgan in this press conference...just saying.

Especially the Sewer York press. I have a feeling that he doesn't like speaking to them, at all.

Seeing it wasn't as biting as reading it.

Agreed. That was a stupid question. What did the guy who asked it expect? Apparently the guy had no legitimate football question, just a stir the pot bunch of crap.
