We've heard a lot about how the Ravens defense always gives Brady problems, but let's face it, much of that had to do with having a slew of great players, including two hall of famers, leading those Ravens units. In my opinion, it was Ed Reed who was the biggest game changer, whose value to the Ravens can't be overstated, much like we saw last week in Seattle's first game without Earl Thomas.

2013 - Patriots 41, @ Ravens 7

Brady's stat line wasn't that impressive, partly because that was the year with all the injuries, but the Patriots moved the ball easily and wrecked the Ravens playoff chances in a blowout in Baltimore. Brady was 14/26, 172 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT.

2014 (playoffs) - @ Patriots 35, Ravens 31

Brady overcame two 14-point deficits to beat the Ravens in a dramatic comeback, with a final stat line of 33/50, 367 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT

2016 - @ Patriots 30, Ravens 23

Last night's game was further domination of the Ravens by the Patriots offense, as Brady went 25/38, 406 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT

TOTALS

Brady is 72/114 (63.2%), 945 yards, 7 TDs, 2 INTs, for a passer rating of 102.4. The Patriots are 3-0 and have averaged (including defensive scores) 35.3 points per game against the Reed/Lewis-less Ravens defense.

All three games have been played late in the year in colder weather.

Brady owns the Ravens.

8-3 lifetime against them now.

Last night was a statement game, the statement being, "We need to work on our punt return game."
