Ben is rated too high. I dont have a prob with Culpepper. I think Byron and Bulger should be a big higher.

Yeah - I like the guy's logic as well... if big wins in big games count for anything, Brady's the #1 QB - its really not a debate.

Colts fans seem to delude themselves about that.

As far as the rest of the list, its all pretty subjective... I think McNabb deserves to be higher just for putting up with TO, and regardless of his own choke performance, always struck me as a standup guy as a QB

Its amazing looking over that list to see just how many bad starting QBs there are in the league

There's a tremendous dropoff after the top 2 (and #2 has his playoff issues) but I would say if some folks are being given the benefit of the doubt after injuries a level playing field would have Palmer #3 based on talent alone, then Delhomme #4, Hasselbeck #5, with Ben, McNabb, Green, Bulger, Brees. All of those 4-10 guys can play really well for stretches but can also hit a wall. Then the drop gets more precipitous and by 16 or the halfway point you're grasping for straws.

Culpepper, Vick and Leftwich head up the next ten in the top twenty but aren't top ten off the top because while they've each got some level of talent they've really struggled and sucked of late prior to being injured and have done little or nothing in the second season. Eli would be mired in that group, along with Drew. As would quckly fading/aging former stars like Favre, Warner and McNair. And probably Simms and Plummer. I'd rank Sims higher if his own coach wasn't collecting backup QB's as a show of faith, and Plummer will revert to form this season with the spectre of a first round rookie lurking in the wings and Shannahan itching to use him.

After that it's the kids and the dregs. Noodle might have made my top 20 right after Drew and Eli but coming off back to back shoulder surgeries and trying valiently to come back to the NYJ (where he was never a top ten to begin with) puts him in the midst of the dregs with Brunnel, Johnson, Carr, et al.

Joe nailed it - amazing how bad it gets once you drop out of that top 5 or 10. We are the most fortunate fanbase in the NFL.

Favre should be no higher than 30.
