All joking aside---It was injury related per Doug Kyed

Calf injury

Not particularly great news 72 hrs prior to the season

And not meaning to panic, but one can assume that it had to have been significant enough to justify him missing practice on the Thursday before the season opener. Not the news I wanted to hear today.

How the hell did that happen?

Not even close to what I wanted to hear today

Yikes, didn't realize this. I thought it seemed like a management of arm/wear and tear thing.

Here is to hoping it is nothing more than a minor thing.

Along with Joan Rivers

It /is/ kind of worrisome, a calf injury that might make him even less mobile against what's a pretty good pass rush.

1st day of Kindergarten probably

So someone thinks its a calf injury?

Umm, so, I'm sorry about Brady. I won't do it again. Probably.

Reports say a calf injury. But will play Sunday.

Will be interesting to hear about the severity in the coming days. My best guess is that this doesn't keep Brady out of the line-up on Sunday.
