Brady Joke Pulled From SNL

I thought the joke they broadcast was very lame. Most circuses have one ring - hence why we say "a three ring circus" to mean something chaotic. A late re-write would go some way to explain why it was so weak. The Brady Baby joke was fair game.
But I would think that Manning would be uncomfortable with a joke about Brady's private life. He's married to his girlfriend from college, and keeps his family out of the spotlight.
