Take a look at this video of the end of Brady's scramble to find White on the sideline. Play it in slow motion or you will miss something small yet crucial:



Did you see what Brady did? Just before the throw he very quickly swivelled his head to see if anyone was on his tail and prepared to strip the ball if he threw it. You really need slow motion to see it in this video.

The commentator pointed this out during the game otherwise I would never have noticed it.

That's the difference between a good QB and a great one right there.

I remember that play well. I almost said, simultaneously to my wife, what Phil Simms(?) said. It stands out when TB scrambles. He has mentioned working on that the last few years. And it shows. Mock him, and he'll prove you wrong.
 
Maybe he could teach that to Chris Hogan.
