Brady is using the same tactics as Rex Ryan. They both tell players that they are elite, causing these players to feel like they don't need to work as hard. The difference is that Brady does it to opponents, while Rex does it to his guys :lol2:

Without any doubt, if a rookie Bradford can with no name wrs, certainly Carson can with Ocho and TO. The key is going to be run defense and pass rush. Without these two, there is no way our 2ndary can hold up.

I really wish people here would acknowledge that there is more to this league than Tom Brady (and peyton). Carson is more than capable of carving up the pats defense.

2004-2006 Palmer was elite for sure. 2010 Palmer, not so much, but he's not necessarily going to give away the game either.

Apparently Carson palmer is a lightning rod for knee jerk reactions from Bengal fans, and the number one topic on sports talk radio in Cincinnati.

Palmer, usually the most vanilla of sports guys, unwittingly has spawned an industry of local sports debate. He is the Howard Cosell of Cincinnati sports, and there never has been a greater irony than that. Planet Ocho is Out There, yes. But most can agree he remains a very good receiver. There is little debate about his on-field show. It's strictly Pro Bowl.

Palmer is a radio guy's ship come in. If a local show host had to choose between A) Barack Obama's economic recovery plan or B) Carson Palmer's chances in 2010, he'd take B), every time, if he wanted lots of maniac callers.
