He hasn't caught a single pass all year which is odd.

This is more a function of the system they run than anything, though he's been used as a receiver so rarely during his career that it's tough to judge. Still, he's probably more Ridley than Vereen. In fact, when I watch him run, Ridley is the guy who comes to mind.

Don't see RB as a need for the Patriots, though, but I hope Williams has a great career.

IMHO, New England would be better served, if it decides it needs another RB, to try and scarf up Alabama's TJ Yeldon. He's more along the style of what the Patriots usually deploy, and not only has some serious quickness, but good hands too.

I think running backs always seem pretty tough to draft because so much of their yardage is directly related to their offensive line, and truthfully, how good their qb is.

Next year is his first year of eligibility and he's probably going to need a first or second rounder. also, recent experience of 'Bama RBs isn't such a hot one in the NFL although Lacy's doing well this year.

I think has better vision and speed than Ridley. Also he hits the hole hard and may be stronger, breaks a lot if tackles. Then again, Williams is doing it against the ACC and Ridley has done it in the NFL. That being said, I still think Williams is the real deal. Very explosive back.

Yeldon looks good, but man, Alabama's O-line is better than some NFL's O-lines.
