LMAO one-off huh?
You guys think that you're better than everyone else and everyone should bow down to NE.
That's a joke considering you haven't had a playoff win since when?
JCDavey can blow all the smoke up your butts he wants.. I'm not here to make friends. I'm here to talk about the Pats playing the Chargers and all you guys can talk about is our fans so I felt it was game on as far as smack was concerned.

One off fan = shows up the week of the game, stays for one week, and then is off to the next team's board

Settle down troll boy.

Like anyone ..who knows anything ...fans are always confident in there team and will support them thru thick and thin.....and you are always going to have a few overzealous fans...going overboard or who have no clue. You have to give due respect to any team as anyone can be beaten on any given Sunday ......so c-o-cky is definitely too strong a label ... there is a fine line between confident and c-o-cky.

It will be settled on Sunday and let the praise go to the victor...

LMAO when you look up ****y it says : See Patriots fan

Don't forget ...Patriots fan kicking azz of Charger fan....:rocker:

Ok... Maybe try making a little more sense.

My guess would be that I won the grand prize for being correct about what your c-o-c-k-y fan base expects from other fans??

The thing that you need to understand about the chargers is you never know what you'll get with them. As a chargers fan, i cannot be arrogant because the bolts might play like they want to loose (bengals). On the other hand they might dominate every facet of the game (colts). Or they might do both (patriots). The confidence is knowing that the chargers can win. I doubt you can find a chargers fan who will say that the Pats (or even a weaker team like the Broncos) have no chance. Any given sunday.

There have been some classy, intelligent Chargers fans on this board, who have added a lot to the discussions over the years.

But, let's be honest. Most of you are going to show up, talk smack for a few days, watch your team get blown out on Sunday, and never be seen here again.

And that's real talk.

Do you not accept that the performance of the Patriots in the last decade gives the Patriots fan base some reason to hold a degree of ****iness or arrogance compared to the rest of the NFL SDBoltz?

I go into every game thinking the Patriots can and probably should win because they're well coached with arguably the greatest QB of the modern era at the helm. A down year of 10-6 is viewed with disdain these days. I also accept how blessed we are to have a team that is consistently excellent and cherish it not knowing how long this will last.

Chargers fans have every right to be confident given the schizophrenic nature of our defense, but acting like a smug prick isn't doing you any favours given the Chargers have achieved nothing despite being an exceptionally talented team.

Oh, it makes perfect sense here. You guys never won one :singing: Hows that for C-O-C-K-Y

And you guys shouldn't be arrogant either. The Bolts made 4 turnovers and were outran, thought Green-Ellis and Woodhead combined 4 48 yards. THe Chargers dominated every other aspect of that game. Rivers doubled Brady's passing yards (336-159?), and Brady was 3/12 on third down. And it was decided on a missed field goal. The stat lines and score of that game tell the entire story of the 2010 chargers.

in the end....the final result was still a L for the Bolts...no matter how you slice it ...:rocker:

You still LOST :bricks: Just like you lost in 95 against the great 49 ers

This Patriots team is better than the team you saw last year..on both sides of the ball

ehh... another way of looking at it would be like this:

The Patriots played so poorly that they were significantly outgained in the passing game, had the defense held in check, and were still able to pull out the victory because they were the much better team.

The stat lines, the game's final score, and the win-loss records of the season tell that story. It's really a matter of what perspective you choose to take at the beginning.

The historically demonstrated reality is that New England is the better team with the better players. The viewing reality is also that the two teams have been good matchups for one another in recent years, the games are generally fun to watch, and the outcomes are generally uncertain going into the 4th quarter. That's what you want in a rivalry of any level, and I think that makes this game worth watching.

I still think the Patriots will win by double digits, but I can certainly envision scenarios where the opposite is true.

Nah.. You guys aren't c-o-c-k-y. LOL

Talk about not knowing your football... A blowout LMAO
Have we suddenly become the worst team in the NFL because we're playing the pats? Interestingly c-o-c-k-y.

Another straw man argument. Fact is, the Chargers gave the Pats the ball 4 times, handed it to them! That should have predicated the outcome, and yet the Chargers lost because of that missed field goal. That's a testament to the Chargers' defense.

Anywho, should be a fun, nail-biting game.
