What the heck...we all can speculate.

Pats win the SB. Harrison retires. Steelers franchise Polamalu. Pats give up the 32nd and 19th in next years draft, and have Merriweather and Polamalu in the secondary for years to come....

The odds of Belioli giving up 19 and 32 for Troy Polamalu are only slightly better than the odds of Matt Cassel stealing Gisele away from Tom Brady.

Did you see the pics in the breakup thread?

Maroney will rush for over 125 yards in game 1 against Jets

booook it

Why give up such valuable picks for Polamalou? The guy is an unguided missile.

My favorite memory of that guy is him biting on a David Givens under route as Deion Branch broke deep.....the absolute peak of the dynasty.

My favorite memory is Larry Johnson tackling him by his hair.

I'd say the odds are slightly better than the odds of Cassel stealing Gisele and replacing Brady as the starter.

Yes...that was nice. He is a great DB though.

My favorite (for an oh s*** moment) was polamalu against 3 blockers in the 2005 AFC championship game and still making the tackle on the runner

It was just an awesome moment

Its interesting how this year our greatest need was LB and safety....and next year our greatest need(barring any set backs) will be LB and safety....

Is it dumb to say (and I know this would never happen) that I would give both those picks for AJ Hawk?

Why give up 32 and 19 in '08 when you can give 32 in '08 and 32 and '09?

If the Pats win the SB, there will probably be several retirements. Including Bruschi, Seau and Troy Brown. Not to mention Harrison.

But, lets worry about this season before we start making any SB predicition.
