If the Pats win next Sunday, all of the Spygate stuff needs to die. If there is ANY organization being watched by Goodell and gang, it's the Pats. If the Pats win, there will be no "excuse" for why we won this season. But no matter what, people will somehow drag Spygate into it. I agree with the poster who said people hate us because we win. BB's external personality doesn't help, but it's because we win and people are sick of us. I'm sure if the Colts went to 5 SB's in 11 years, you'd see the same hatred, even with Manning (who everybody outside of NE love because his "commercials are so funny"). People hate teams that win consistently.

It won't die. It won't ever die. I remember last year before the play-offs started and the Pats finished 14-2 and there were several articles on line and in the papers about Spygate. One, I remember distinctly, was headlined, "Are the Patriots Cheating Again?" Not because of an incident, but just because they went 14-2. It will be here until all of us are dead, and perhaps longer. Learn to live with it.
