It's easy, and only takes a few moments. When will folks figure out that Brady and BB made these people like BOB?I wasn't asking about last season or changing any story, I was asking about how the pessimists/trolls would spin this upcoming season, and I got at least one answer: BOB sucks because various Alabama fans were glad to get rid of him. I wasn't asking about last season because I have stated BB made a huge mistake and I have moved on.
You seem to have a giant hard-on for the whole BB vs Brady debate, maybe you should take your own advice and move on with your life too? TB12 ain't coming through that door.
I hope this revamped offense is better than the Houston offense, which O'Brien commandeered, that was nothing better than middle of the pack

Micky D and Pioli were disasters. BOB got fired in Houston and Micky will get his axx run out of town in Vegas too. Just watch.
We get to see BOB without Brady as his QB. Where else has BOB gone and had that kind of success without Brady? He had 2 good seasons in Houston with Watson and Hopkins. That's it. BOB is no QB guru or offensive genius. If he was he wouldn't have resorted to taking a job at Alabama or in NE because he would job offers up the Ying-Yang.
It's always the same BS. Great expectations from these draft picks and coaches post Brady and reality that the Pats are just another team now. They do not belong in the same conversation as the upper echelon franchises anymore.

Are you still in a bit of denial that Brady elevated this team to elite levels or no? He’s right. BOB has never really coached a great offense in the nfl, but it will also be at least professional, which it wasn’t last year

What was your about about? I’m seeing BOBs history coaching offense and how it was never elite without Brady…then you said somebody was stupid because of that. What did I miss?Your question and observation are unrelated to my post, but I will answer anyway: No. I am not "still in denial" because I never was to begin with.

But would you say the point about BOB is fair? He hasn’t been Shanahan or Mcvay for example where they’ve had instant success implementing their system. BOB is a good professional offensive coach but his offenses have been basically mediocre his entire coaching career (without Brady). It was an observation of those vacant ingrates conjuring anti-Patriots spin on any and all subject matter. Reasoned criticism of the team is fine. Relentless dumping on everything/everyone coming own the pike -- especially when they understand little about football at the NFL level -- has no place here. If you don't know what I'm talking about perhaps familiarize yourself with their posting histories.

It’s great to have that opinion, but they also pointed out that his offenses have been mediocre, which is factual.I believe BOB is a solid OC with ample experience including invaluable institutional knowledge of the New England Patriots. He also has worked with and knows Mac Jones. That makes him likely the best hire possible for this team ca. 2023.

He'll get the first shot to prove he can play, if he falters Bill will yank him and put Zappe in.Slight pivot but still relevant…I’ve been pretty ambivalent about Mac even though I fully hold BB accountable for disaster on offense last year.
Realized why yesterday….I can’t get the image of him CRYING after that high ankle sprain out of my head, coupled with Bama fans I know telling me he was physically and mentally soft.
It rubbed me wrong.
I’m biased toward tough players.
That’s what Brady was.
Even Bledsoe.
I’m hoping it’s just youth with Mac but I need more grit from him.
Both Rex and Buddy Ryan were excellent DCs and mediocre head coaches. Were they a product of Brady and Belichick too? Cam Cameron was the OC of one of the best offenses of the early 2000s (Chargers) and washed out as the head coach of the Dolphins after one 1-15 season. Was he a product of Brady and Belichick too? Marty Mornhinweg and Mike Tice were also great OCs who were awful head coaches. When will folks figure out that Brady and BB made these people like BOB?

I hate that photo. It’s been bothering me for a while. I have an issue with Mac if he is soft. However the more I think about it…I think a large part of that emotional breakdown was Mac feeling he’s letting his team down by not playing and also letting himself down. I believe the competitor in him got the best of him. Sure the injury hurt but IMO it was just as much as letting the team down as much as it hurt.Slight pivot but still relevant…I’ve been pretty ambivalent about Mac even though I fully hold BB accountable for disaster on offense last year.

That’s my point…he was overly emotional after he let his team down by getting injured. I think that effected him more then the pain of the injury. Not sure why this bothers folks so much. Brady has cried repeatedly in pubic including after a loss to the Dolphins 8 or nine years ago - not a big deal. Some folks are more emotional than others, but they are still tougher than most - being emotional and having toughness doesn't have to be mutually exclusive.
