Also, I think, he is just young and VERY shy. He's also very humble, which is a great attribute. He comes from a meager background where proper education is probably a hard thing to come by. He's overcome a lot. He took what only America can offer and grabbed it by the horns. I like him.

A young man who has never been in the big national spotlight all off a sudden has a 1000 cameras and microphones in his face. Given that, it isn't outside the realm of possibility he is shy and unprepared for this (I believe most would be).
Given some time to get comfortable expressing his thoughts in front of the camera I'm sure his performance would be significantly better.
Personally I find it refreshing to see someone who is shy in front of camera versus the ego based hams that normally are there
