Reggie White threw a lot of RTs outta the bar, no doubt... But after that first sack, Lane should've been given some help for the Very Next Dam Play... Inexcusable that it didn't happen.

This is Patsfans someone will blame Belichick.
Well he was on the coaching staff and given how Belicheck has a history of looking at the smallest details for an advantage, it's not impossible he noticed on game tape that White didn't look as dominant on turf.

However it's clearly a HC and OC decision when it comes to implementing an offensive scheme. Parcels is mostly to blame

LMAO the OP loves to blame coaching for everything…yeah, the Super Bowl 31 loss had nothing to do with Bledsoe throwing 4 INTs and having a 50% completion percentage

That Packers D line was very, very good

Sean Jones was still a very good pass rusher.

Gilbert Brown could not be moved.

Santana Dotson was no slouch.

Gabe Wilkins was excellent.

...then there was Reggie.

In hindsight. Bruce, Rucci, Wolabaugh, Lane and Roberts were grossly overmatched.

1996 Packers were one of the best teams ever. No surprise the Pats lost.

Bellichick's title was Assistant Head Coach. Whatever that meant.

But the OL was heavily over matched.

He was in charge of the secondary, basically

Parcells did not want to hand Kraft a Lombardi trophy. He kicked off to Desmond Howard.

Parcells was using the Patriots hotel phone to line up his next job. Brady was negotiating with the Dolphins while in the Pats 2019 training camp.

Many Pats fans are denial on a few things. First, they had no business being in that Super Bowl that season with the Broncos losing at home in one of the biggest fluke games in history. Second, the 1996 Packers were one of the best teams of the 90's and the Pats had no shot winning that game. The Pats put up a decent fight, but the Packers' talent took over.

Bruce Armstrong wasn’t over-matched, at all. Lane & Rucci were Always the weak links there.

If we won that Superbowl...there is a good chance that Brady & Belichick end up somewhere else.... (shrugs)
