Bills looking to trade Spikes

Irrespective of whether Spikes is the Spikes of old, he has several things going for him:

1) Experience as a starter.
2) He played all last year.
3) We only need him as a reserve and spot rotation player
4) Achilles problems take 1.5 to 2 years to clear up. It'll be 2+ in 2007.

Even if he isn't what he used to be, like the old grey mare, we don't need him to be!

Would he be better than Corey Mays? Don't make me laugh.

I'd do it in an instant. And pay as high as 1.28 plus a 4; for Spikes and Bills 2 and 3.

I always thought he was overrated. He's got a big mouth too. Why trade draft picks for a player like that when the Bills will eventually cut him anyway?

This is another indication that Buffalo will grab Patrick Willis at 12.
