The Urban Meyer-BB connection, the infamous Tebow North End dinner with BB, and McDaniels actually drafting Tebow in the first round give a lot of credence to the idea that Belichick's coaching circle placed a lot of value on Tebow back in the day. But that is clearly no longer the case and it's just funny how some of the media keep trying to tie BB to Tebow. They are just dying for BB to bring in Tebow as a swiss-army weapon and prove everyone wrong, and it's just not on the Pats' radar at all.

Harsh words for BB to use about the press ... but it was Silver. BB probably enjoyed the chance to take that shot.

The bored, idle press will go at great lengths to replicate the Jets media circus, and once again BB steps to the microphone and refuses to allow it to happen..

BB hating Tim Tebow sounds as ludicrous now as it did then...

If BB believes that Tebow could help this team, he would pursue it, after factoring in the accompanying media circus.. it it not all that complicated.

Belichick doesn't trash people publicly, except when they really deserve it and have crossed him (like Steve Gutman or Freddie Mitchell), so I imagine he didn't want to let stand a misconception that he trashed Tebow for no reason.
