Instead of Walton in the 4th round, how about Justin Jackson in the 6th-7th round?

I love Walton. Reminds me of Dion Lewis and Alvin Kamara.

The guy I'm intrigued by as a late round pick is the Fordham kid, who posted ungodly three-cone and shuttles at the combine. No idea how good he actually is but I'd be willing to take a chance on that lottery ticket.

Chase Edmunds. Put on some tape. It's a joy to watch. Needs to add some strength, but fun guy.

Feel like I'm watching Giannis Antetokounpo scouting reports. Grainy ass film with nobody in the stands and one guy making everyone else look like children playing a man's game.

Put on the clips from the Army game. It's tough to get a good read because Army just completely outmatches Fordham in every respect, but you can see that speed and quickness on display. When he can bounce outside with some space, he does some damage. He also runs good routes, catches everything thrown to him, and seems willing in pass pro. Whiffs on one block that causes a sack but picks up a couple blitzers and stones them to allow the QB to make a throw.

That said, he runs a bit upright with the ball for my liking and seems to be looking to bounce outside all the time. I don't know how much he likes contact. Also, with almost a thousand carries in college and with leg injuries limiting his senior year, that sort of abuse is a bit of a red flag for me.

Running style with the short-area burst and lateral quickness reminds me of Devonta Freeman. But he tapdances a bit waiting for the home run like... well, he gives me a bit of a Laurence Maroney vibe. Still, I like him as a lottery ticket and would be interested to see what he could do behind an NFL offensive line. The running back class is so deep though that I wouldn't touch him until the late rounds. Should at least have an NFL future as a special teamer.

Do y'all think there is any way we can get Sony Michel in round 2? I'd be a happy man.

Sure. I think he'll be there with their first pick of the round. I think he'd be a good pick there. I like him over Derrius Guice. Big fan of Ronald Jones too, but the people I trust tend to like Michel a little more. He runs like an NFL running back.

I like him. Waiting on small school guys in hopes of more film coming out but he'll be worth a gamble for some team. Inlove Walton but couldn't make a decision on him w/out talking to him & knowing a little more about his situation. Tough, tough runner tho.

Purely for the laughs, I want Rashaad to play for the Colts, so that they can have the Luck(y) Penny offense if their QB ever heals up and plays again.

. . . nice write up though, as always. ;)

Cannon was on my radar & apparently @long distance 's too.

He's a 3rd down, return man type back w/ real quicks & speed to take for 6 for almost anywhere. Avg 7+ ypc for his career. Has real rec ability & very good short area awareness.

    Drafted by Jets!

That’s some seriously good testing for a 250lb back

Blount has a sub 7.00 3-cone at that type of size.

Very physical runner, good blocker and has Blount like burst in the open field. Some impressive stuff on this tape. I doubt he’s more than a day 3/UDFA guy but he could be good competition for Gillislee.

Good catch. He could really push for a role with this team. I like the addition of Hill, and maybe he could take that spot, but I missed having a power back to grind out games late. We also struggled in 3rd-1, 3rd-2 type of situations more than I'd like to see.
