he's essentially a rookie, he's doing fine if he can even make it on the field w/ this group

he actually played in 3 games last year and looked phenomenal.

That’s just because all of the starters have played so well. He’s just gotten lost in the shuffle a bit.

Incorrect. He played in three games (started two) last year before getting IR'd.

Good soldier. Plays his role, nothing spectacular but he carries his weight out there.

A lot of defensive players like Bentley, the best compliment to pay them is that you don't notice them in the field, because for the most part you notice players on D when they make mistakes.

I haven't noticed Bentley very much. No big mistakes, which is a good thing, he also hasn't stood out at all, which he wasn't expected to do anyway.

Give the guy a solid B-. could be better, but satisfactory.

Crowded LB corps. I mean he isn't gonna see snaps ahead of Hightower, Van Noy, and/or Collins.....and looks like he is splitting 50/50 with Roberts...

I like him. He doesn’t need to be an impact player every play atm. He needs to contribute, stop the run, and learn.

In time, he’ll hopefully gain confidence and experience. I don’t think he’s a JAG. I think he’s a player who has some potential. He’ll never be Collins, but he can help this team.

When he's been out there he's been pretty good. Same as last year. At least that's what I see when I watch the film 2-3 X's.

If someone were to ask me what he could clean up coming into this year. Over aggressiveness & patience at the line would be near top even though I don't think he was bad at all there. So I can honestly say that I seen some of that last year as well. I just think this is a case of some getting a little too hyped up or hyping him up too much. I haven't seen anything this year that would indicate a different player. Or any type of regression. Np if others do.
