Too many people conveniently forget how Green Bay centric Bedard was his first few months at the Globe.

It's normal. He'll get his feet wet.

Bedard was Green Bay centric his entire time with the Globe. He just hid it better as time went on, though you could tell that just about all his analysis was "in comparison to Green Bay" as a subtext.

I dont think volin is as much a football guy as maybe bedard in the sense that X/O's , gameplans etc dont interest him . He is just a reporter with opinions. In twitter yesterday for e.g he was trying to 'stir' up that parcells mentioned all the coaches except belichick in the hall of fame speech and called it 'interesting'. He is just like another gasper so far but lets see how the season pans out for him.
