Tom now looks like a prima donna ***** and cuts BBs legs out from under him.

I dont understand the conspiracy theory. its pretty simple. You have 3 options.

1. Franchise Jimmy G and pay 23million$ to a backup and destroy your roster paying 2 QB's high money.

2. Sign Jimmy G to a bridge deal: Clearly they found out there was no way to make this happen pretty early on. Jimmy wanted to play and wanted $$ his draft mates like derek carr are getting.

3. Trade Jimmy G or Brady: Pretty easy decision after the season brady is having. you dont trade away 17 years of excellence for a guy you saw play 1 1/2 regular season games.
