I want to believe this. They SHOULD be focused and ready to go after the nonsense that ensued last week.
BUT, didn't Belichick say the same thing before they lost to the Giants in 2011? If I remember correctly, all we were hearing from the Patriots and their beat writers was how they had a great week of practice, the team was focused but loose, Bill is relaxed, the team has a lot of confidence, etc.
IIRC, Belichick was happy with the week of practice they had before Super Bowl XLVI. It's good that he thinks the team has focused through the PSI horse **** but the proof is in the pudding.

Yup, and they outplayed the Giants by a healthy margin, only to be undone by NY's fumble luck, a questionable call for a safety that totally changed the complexion of the opening quarter, Gronk's ankle being too serious, an unforced drop and a healthy dose of Eli's horseshoe.
Unlike the first SB, Bill out-coached Redface the second time around. Remember how everyone asked how NE could possible slow down the Giants' passing attack?
