Belichick Spends Thursday at South Florida's Pro Day
By: Ian Logue

There may be a lockout, but head coach Bill Belichick is still out on the scouting trail preparing for what will hopefully work out to be a 2011 season....

Terrell McClain is a NT. Wonder if the Brace injury is worse than we thought?

I think it's just due diligence. Might as well read the whole menu before you order, even if you know what you want ahead of time.

where's all the crazed lunatics who went beserk because BB didn't attend some bullcrap breakfast??? what, no reponse to him doing his job diligently??or am I being puerile or too "In BB I TRust"? why not try to stop being some lousy fascimile of an old crone in a rocking chair sniping and back stabbing everyone and everything you don't happen to agree with...and stop calling GROWN MEN you don't know your little snotty punk derogatives.

Pretty sure Brace is DE, not NT these days. They had Gerard Warren in there fer crissakes.

I don't get the impression the Brace ever impressed at the nose.

I don't get the impression we have a real willing and viable NT backup on the roster, just placeholders.

Exactly correct, McClain brings added value as an inside rusher on 3rd down.

When he was at UConn's pro day in 2009 he had the QB doing some reps at DB. . . .

Well, the guys we use as backup NTs now, Pryor and Love, are actually more suited to that role than to NT. Is this guy a real sand in the pants NFL NT prospect? if so, I doubt he also doubles as an inside rusher, unless he's a 1st round candidate like Wilfork.

EDIT: 297? He may be a nose tackle somewhere, but he's not even close in our defense. Get in line behind Pryor and Love for very limited reps.

McClain definitely is not a NT- I think he project more to an interior pass rushing DT in the mold of Wright/Prior.
