aka, duh he was going to say this. what the hell else would he say.

"We wanted him, Tampa was just the better option" - not fueling any sort of media story.
"He's good" - praise, no material
"No surprise" literally making sure Tom can't even have the thought "THEY DOUBTED ME???"

I'm not saying it isn't true by any means, I just... whatever. I hate sports journalists so goddamn bad. Sorry, folks. There are so many cool questions you could ask Bill, and I hate that they waste time asking this stuff.

I don’t want to get into a long drawn out discussion about this, your opinion of the mods, etc. I’m simply asking you to limit this discussion to this thread. I’ve opened it back up and let’s just simply move forward.
And no, people can criticize the coach. I’m just trying to open up room for other topics as opposed to multiple threads arguing the same points. It’s September. If we’re still having these discussions in December, that’s a different story.
