NEW YORK (AP)--The commisioner of the National Football League, Roger Goodell, has announced that the tapes that have been forwarded to the league by Matt Walsh, the former patriots video assistant, are "made of glass," a characterisation that has left many longtime league observers scratching their heads. "It's just a weird thing to say," said one highly- placed source. "Irrelevant, o.k., insubstantial, that's also a word that has meaning. But 'made of glass?' What does that even mean? I think it means the Patriots will be exonerfied very soon, but I don't know."

Is this a joke? If not, it just reveals how much of a moron Goodell is, and his faulty reasoning ability.

No. This is not a joke.

Maybe Goodell dropped the tapes accidentally and they shattered. Now, he's trying to explain why these tapes were destroyed by the league.

(It's weak, I know, but it was the first thing that came to mind. Certainly an odd phrase to use.)

This bozo is the most inarticulate marble mouth since Boston's Mayor "Mumbles" Menino

(I think I fell for a hoax)

No. This is not a joke.

Of course it's a joke, he's using exonerfied. Stop with this silliness, you're only exmasterbating the snitchuation

I'm guessing he means he's going to make sure the tapes are handled with care?

Great parody.

Of course it could be improved my not misspelling: commissioner, characterization, and exonerated. Spelling errors are killers at giving away fake news stories. You can get way with grammar errors but not spelling.

Can someone with a really solid legal background research the US Consitution and "find" a special clause that allows a violent overthrow of the NFL commissioner in the event the sitting commish is found to be clinically insane?

Seriously he needs to be removed from this position NOW before he somehow finds a way to get us all killed!

I could improve "my not" making spelling errors, but I can get "way with" grammar ones? Hmmmmm. Definitely something to think about.

Are you the jerk who gave my thread a one star rating?

I was not the one to give it one star.

I don't claim a master of English, but you see those little red dots under a word. Means it ain't a word. Dead give away not a real press release.

Damn, and here I thought the use of "exonerfied" was a subtle reference to the identity of the source.

And I still think you gave my thread a one star rating: very classless TGIAGH.

Oh well, fake or not, he still sucks, even if he issues an official apology on Tuesday he still sucks. I don't even think he's biased, I just think he sucks.
