Yes, but to be fair, there's usually not a self-imposed transaction deadline that is timed to end at the press conference.

If that's true then why set the 4PM deadline why not make it 3PM or 5PM and no one said it was a conspiracy just interesting timing. You think they forgot that he holds PCs at 4 after games.

Honestly, I don't think they factored the time of the deadline in to when BB holds his weekly press conferences. He's doesn't answer questions about players who aren't there. Simple as that.

If they drive up Deion's offer it shows him that the money he wants is out that and therefore will probably sit out until week 10 so he can hit free agency.

if the pats had ANY intention of letting him hit free agency, this whole thing would have been solved prior to camp, when branch said he'd play out his contract, if promised to not to be franchised... by not agreeing to that, the pats have made it clear they will be franchising him in 07
