Probably just doing his due diligence before accepting UNC offer, checking where all the NFL teams were in their planning.

I’m curious who he called, their public switchboard? Or their GM? And did he have caller id turned off?

1 - BB was after the NFL record of HC wins no matter what

2 - No one, no one wanted him running their football program at the NFL level.

The NC job is just what is left and maybe a dad thing to leave his son set up for a HC career.

There is so much animosity towards BB, this is easily the best of this week's fake news. This is amazingly discovered and reported the same week BB accepts the UNC coaching job? And it was a JETE leak? How many red flags do you see?

It is a good roster with a QB that, if reigned in (of which there's prolly a 5% chance), can do some work. If BB had the control he wanted (I don't think he'd have it there), he could've produced results with that roster pretty well, I'd imagine. Anyone looking for a HC job would be a fool not to at least inquire.
