BB backs Vrabel

BB should have just kept quiet.

Seriously, if he didn't step up to defend his QB against that horrible spear in Jacksonville - (especially since Rio came out and said the crap he did about wanting to spear Brady) - then he should be consistent with his silence. This situation is no nearly as disturbing as that late hit was, but BB had no comment. Why comment here? He sounded a little too defensive for my taste!

I am sure someone asked him about it. The situations are entirely different, though. Brady didn't complain about the hit--no one wants to accidentally suggest that their QB was complaining about getting hit, no matter how hard. For Vrabel to be accused of attempting to injure another player in a cheap manner is entirely different. Here's he's standing up for the player's aggressive play.

i think it was asked to him and to be fair he was asked about the rio comment also on brady and he responded by taking a shot at rio that maybe he was frustrated in brady having success against his defenses consistently.Lets cover all the facts. BB doesnt go out of the way to do PR.

I don't think I am the dumb one here. I know we can't all be Mensa members. I suggest you read up on what happened before asking a question this silly. Maybe someone can read the articles to you and explain what it all means.

Actually, you are the one coming off ignorant (Note: not dumb... ignorant)

If you read what actually happened, Vrabel didn't do anything wrong. There is no need to apologize.

If anything, Steinbech made a bad assumption and overreacted.

I wouldn't apologize either.

Obviously the Browns player thinks he intentionally went at a players knees. It has blown up in the press and the Pats need more bad press like they need a hole in the head. So yeah, I see nothing wrong with trying to smooth it over man to man if it was a misunderstanding.

sanvara, people like you wont be satisfied until they've gotten an ounce of blood. Let's face it, the only reason you're here is to try to somehow whitewash your team's monumental failure with the idea that the other team is full of bad guys.

The main thing to note here is that San Diego is a horrifically bad team that loses to Herm Edwards.

Do you want to serve tea and crumpets between plays too?

Vrabes has nothing to apologize for, the mistake is by the Browns player and once he sees tape the next day, I'm sure he saw the same thing. The media has created this huge target on the pats back and as Brady mentioned, you can't battle everything, there's just not enough time in the day.

Sanvara's fascination with us is just so darn funny.

What's interesting is if one of us was annoying the Charger's website in the manner sanvara does here, we'd have been banned long ago. Yet this jackass Charger fan is over here giving us etiquette lessons. Give me a break, Miss Manners. I think you are watching the wrong sport.

I think Sanvara should be asked "When do we hear STEINBACH'S apology to Vrabel for mouthing off to the press on a subject he obviously (it's right there on video) had his back to?

Sanvara? Could you let us know when Steinbach apologizes?

To even try to get into your twisted logic and failure to comprehend that BB was simply responding to a media question and sticking up for a player that was illegally attacked by the Browns is frankly a waste of time.

BB did exactly the right thing, and he didn't ask your opinion.
