So I'll start out by admitting that PFN sucks when it comes to making trades so I limited this to only 2 rounds because in order to get my trades accepted I had to be fleeced of my 3rd round picks.

My initial trade back was with Carolina and then I followed that with another trade back with another NFC South team, Atlanta to get ahead of their rival New Orleans.

I almost went Mason Taylor with the last pick but I felt the drop off in talent after Tate was far too great.

Simmons is healthy in this scenario, yes? Of course he is.

and this is why my plan is the best way to maximize our trade down...

It's just a personal thing but I'm not a big fan of big trade down mocks just because I don't think they're all that realistic but if we come out of the draft with Simmons-Scourton-Harris-Ratledge that would work. Four potential starters. Good job.

I’m also not keen on trade down mocks for the same reason.

I also don’t think we are in a position to pick Simmons either. We need someone to start right away and I don’t think our overall roster is in a position where we can take a risk on a guy coming off his injury. It’s a peak dynasty era pick rather than a rebuilding Pats pick.

Had i done a full mock than I would include another OT as a stop gap/insurance. And I'm just predicting how I think it will go but also I acknowledge other trades are likely to occur. To me it's more realistic than doing without trades. It's just difficult using a sim and having to select for all teams. For my final mock I'll write it out. I'm just being lazy with this one.

I just wanted to say something about Tre Harris.

I've ribbed Bakes about him a bit based upon his level of opposition, and that might be a bit unfair, but also speaks to my concerns about him.

On the good side, I actually think Tre Harris might end up being one of the best X receivers in the draft. There is a LOT to like. Firstly, he really looks the part - he looks like an NFL X and although he didn't test amazingly well, 4.5 speed for an X receiver is perfectly acceptable. Secondly, other than the two 'negatives' below, neither of which are his fault, there's little about his game to not like. He has the hands, he's shown the ability to get open and his long speed looks better than he timed. He's got very good hands and scores well in contested catch situations. Finally, he's on a pretty good trajectory from high school QB to a slot WR at Louisiana Tech to a starting X on an SEC team that has a track record of sending such players to the NFL. His arrow has pointed upward throughout his career and that's usually a good sign.

As I said, the negatives aren't his fault. Ole Miss' offense is so unlike an NFL one and so simplified in terms of the routes that projecting that is not easy. Add in the fact that he got injured before hitting the meat of the schedule and the plays you see him win are against D II defensive backs in the main. In his defense, he did get 7 for 102 against LSU.

I do see a high ceiling for Harris but it's a question of confidence level. I feel pretty comfortable with the floor of Jayden Higgins and Jack Bech. At the very least, they'll be good solid possession receivers. I'm less confident about Harris' floor because of the issues above. However, I can certainly be persuaded on the upside. Higgins and Bech will stay ahead of him on my rankings because of that confidence level but I would be happy and hopeful should we draft him.

I'm also factoring in his personality. From the interviews I've seen he seems like a real humble kid which is RARE at WR.

You mean George Pickens Jr.??

I see some A.J. Brown in Tre Harris I saw that too in Jonathan Mingo who is kind of an enigma. Really hope he brings it this years. Watching Iowa it's clear J Noel is > J Higgins I would be very disappointed if we took Higgins over Noel.
