One of the best things about Mike Reiss is his very methodical, anti-hype approach. There’s so much innuendo and rumor that surrounds the Pats that even though he’s ESPN, I’ll still go to him to see if he’s reported something, to confirm that it’s true.

So it’s in that spirit that I take this item from him this morning as a very good sign:

“By late Friday into Saturday, coaches and players clearly took notice that many in the media picked the Bills to win today. I believe that has contributed to an “us against the world” mentality, and I’m curious to see how that manifests itself by the 1 p.m. kickoff.”

I am so excited for the Pats to be playing in the Bills only superbowl since the 90s, its going to be a good test, hopefully for our repeat
Absolutely .... why wait until February 7, 2016 for the Super Bowl ... apparently it is today.

I'm not so sure the "Whole league" is hoping the Bills win. A lot of people don't like ****y, "we won one game, so it's on to the SB" attitude . Rex is gambling on talking trash, and actually have it work for him. I would love to see his check bounce this afternoon. They will go from heroes to zeros in the media. That's fun to watch. http://itiswhatitis.weei.com/sports...le-leagues-hoping-bills-beat-patriots-sunday/

Just like Rex's verbal bravado and the Bills players stating they hate the Pats, and the Pats taking it as "us against the world" none of this mean ****. Words, feelings, none of that means ****, it's all about what you do on the field. Let your play do the talking. You can have bravado after you win the game.

That's why I laugh about people thinking insults against a team means a team is gonna crush another team. Doesn't mean ****. Let's hope our Pats win this game, don't care if it's by 1 point or 60 (60 would be more enjoyable ).

It's funny, these people talk so much trash about the patriots and want them to lose so badly yet don't realize all of this BS just provides even more fuel and motivation to be successful

If I see that homicidal look in Brady's eyes today, I will know that a Patriots win is guaranteed.

This is the one I am referring to:

True. You would think that to be the case. I just don't understand how people are so dismissive of the Pats and that they won't be able to take the pressure in Buffalo. They like nothing more than this and they have a team loaded with ballers.

Dismiss at your own risk.
