The shirt is the ultimate sign of respect to me, and the pose is even better. Defeated.

The era of whining about cheating is over. Now it’s just stripped down to what it is, jealousy with begrudging respect. As Red Sox fans we can all relate to this, the original “Yankees Suck” fans, despite those Yankees teams pre A-Rod really not having much to hate on other than envy and the pain of seeing them win.

Gurley is just adding fuel to Boston as the King City to bend the knee to. Tomlinson was a straight up btch in so many ways. His “classless” stuff was the ultimate loser, hypocrite unmasked, since the Chargers got a taste of their own medicine with their obnoxious celebrating and trash talking. Then he did his little “I’m above the fray” stunt, but then said the organization cheats and - oh snap! - it starts with the head coach. On the Jets he was such a whiny little turd who showboated every chance he could get.

Sorry - just not buying into the Gurley hate here. There have been too many greater villains during the dynasty. A silly t-shirt like this doesn’t really do much to get under my skin, not that I think it’s trying to.
