Agreed, especially if Dobson will be gone for a while. Hopefully 2 weeks is long enough for Dobson to get back, BUT, I see Davis being cut and Collie playing in at least our first playoff game.
I think Collie returns myself, but we'll have to see.
As far as Dobson goes (and Thompkins for that matter) they both had nice rookie seasons, and they both received some valuable experience in high pressure situations, but I highly doubt that either one of them is going to suddenly become this huge weapon this year like so many seem to think.
It should be better next year, but for the remainder of this year, we'll likely stay with what we know, and that doesn't really include either one of Dobson or Thompkins for more than a couple of catches per game--at best.
It looks like Edelman, Amendola, Vereen, and the running game is what we're going to live or die with.
