Atlanta secondary aren't rookies!

Sound logic. Guys in their first year, playing in their first SB, are not rookies. That might hold some weight if you were playing the Steelers or Chiefs where it was an even playing field in terms of SB experience.

Except you're not, you're playing a team which almost half the roster played in the SB 2 years ago. Not to mention a few guys that have now been to 3 SB, and oh ya the QB and Coach in their 7th SB.

Falcons on the other hand, the HC has experience as a coordinator not as a HC and only 4 guys with SB experience.

Also, are you one of those parents who says their kid is 5 years, 7 months and 3 weeks-old to make them sound more mature than the rest of the paste-eating slobs in his grade???

All that experience didn't save the Rams in 2002 - just saying. Can be overrated.

Agree.

There is playing experience and Super Bowl experience.

I think the "SB Experience" is overrated.

NFL in-game experience is not.

I've seen a lot of commentators suggest that the Atlanta secondary will have difficulty against New England because Atlanta is full of rookies. For example, Skip Bayless predicts a 12-point win by New England: .

I want to point out that this argument is profoundly unconvincing. After playing a full regular season and a couple of playoff games - THEY AREN'T ROOKIES ANYMORE!

This is their second season, not their first, for all intents and purposes.

So what's more concerning here is that Atlanta has done so well in the latter part of the season - after their "rookies" have gained experience.

They're rookies. You can say they're very talented, they're fast, know what they're doing, etc., but sorry not sorry, you don't get to redefine words just because you don't like them being used to describe your team.

Ok Kdog....have they had a full offseas on in the system....OTA's mini camp, a 2nd training camp? No, you say....well then they are still rookies!

I think BB would be the first one to say that they are no longer rookies as well. I don't have a problem with the statement (such as it is without listening to the context around it).

This all they have? Falcon fan trolls lack Superbowl experience too.....not very good at it. I wonder if they understand that the already more experienced Patriots players also gained another season experience this year too. They weren't stuck in suspended animation all year while Falcon rookies gained experience.

Does it matter?
Y'know what I think? Don't really matter what I think. Once that first ball goes past one of their DBs' head, rookie, experience and all that **** just goes right out the window.

No, They are rookies. Now they are also rookies to the Super bowl. Many of our players are veterans of Super bowls.

They've gotten their feet wet, but they're still rookies. Why so offended?

Also, watching Sharpe and Skip for your football edification is like watching Sex in the City to improve combat effectiveness.

You may have a point. They have the experience of surrendering 51 TDS. That would be like year 3 if they were a good defense.

Well damn...

If they give Brady time believe me they will look like rookies. Atlanta has to get to Brady or their defense is going to look silly.

They get to Brady and we stand no chance. Offensive line will have their hands full.

All 10 of you?
we had a higher percentage of the sold out dome full than sold out foxboro. And higher total attendance

Can't hear you. Artificial crowd noise is too loud.
Ironic since we are naive and gullible enough to believe you guys tape practices and deflate balls
Go ahead and troll. Have fun tweaking a fan base in which their team has been to 9 Super Bowls and has more rings than Kay Jewelers.
this is probably why we didn't genius

Normally we troll the opposing teams board super hard. Y'all have had it easy. Lol
Yeah, the prospect of that is frightening. This place is just loaded with shrinking violets...

Yeah, Sterling Moore certainly wasn't a rookie anymore when Mario Manningham burned him for that long competition in the final minutes of Super Bowl 46...

Makes sense....
