Not 100% sure he tested positive, or if he came into contact with someone who was positive... Now we get to see how well the NFL manages the situation...

If the league can keep things relatively in check, with no full blown outbreaks, I think there is a real good chance that the full slate of games is played this year...

Falcons place rookie CB A.J. Terrell on reserve/COVID-19 list
The Atlanta Falcons will be without another member of the secondary when they host the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
Rookie CB A.J. Terrell, the Falcons’ 2020 first-round pick out of Clemson, was placed on the league’s reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced on Saturday afternoon.

Terrell was Atlanta’s highest-graded defender by Pro Football Focus in Week 2 and his absence will put extra pressure on struggling CB Isaiah Oliver.
To compensate for his loss, the team elevated undrafted free agents Tyler Hall and Delrick Abrams from the practice squad, along with LB Edmond Robinson.

Expect Darqueze Dennard to start on the outside in place of Terrell in Week 3.

How often are players tested and receive results?

How often are players tested and receive results?
it depends on how the player/personnel are categorized, so its either daily for tier 1/tier 2 or weekly for tier 3

Real test will be during flu season. We've seen how the flu runs through locker rooms in the past.

And didn't Seattle play Atlanta and then play...uhhhh...the Patriots? What's incubation time on this thing...7-10 days?

Yay COVID!

yeah...crazy, huh....just think of all these athletes dying of COVID 19...it's outrageous.....quarantine the entire league! (start by putting Goondell in a padded cell ten stories underground in a concrete block)

Can I donate Lysol syringes to keep him safe?

But that would create a negative atmosphere within........ Oh wait... Yes... A vacuum mask would be perfect.

I may be mixing up sports but weren't some junior players cut before the season started, for violating curfew ? Probably set a strong bar for all players to fall in line about covid
