Asking a lot of Brady

Good, you should be.

The coach comment is ridiculous because he is in just his second year. What did Belichick do in his first year? I know he wasn't over .500. Loser reputation? He is one of the most accurate, strong armed QBs in football.

Who has a history of folding under pressure and fumbling quite a bit. Don't forget that.

I said in Belichick's first year. Saban is further along then BB was at this point in his NFL career.

As for the winning thing, it's hard to win with a bunch of losers around you. Minnesota was a terrible team outside of Daunte and Randy.

Didn't Minnesota get to the NFCCG a few years ago, only to get whacked by the Giants? I think the Vikings have always had talent around him, he's the guy who made the big mistakes down the stretch with fumbles, ineffectiveness, etc. I'd be more nervous if Miami got Drew Brees, but I don't fear Miami whatsoever this year. Just another media driven team concocted so they dont have to admit that the AFC East is pretty much sealed already. Sorry, but its true.

No I just know that we have something special this year. The past 2 seasons, I knew our team wasn't going to make it all that far. I wasn't ignorant in 2004 after the Ricky Williams retirement, nor was I blind to see things would be tough in 2005. But the players and coaching staff we have has excited me for the 2006 season.

Being excited is one thing, putting the cart before the horse is another, my friend!

Well in that case, he should be okay because he is one of the most mobile QBs in the NFL despite the injury. Daunte has the strongest arm in football.

Being mobile and legstrength/armstrength are two entirely different relationships. If Culpepper's throwing motion/weight transfer are affected by his knee, you'll know soon enough. He can run around in circles all he wants, but his throwing motion will still depend on his legs to keep the ball where he wants it.

Back to the original topic.

I agree, it is a lot to ask of Brady, and pretty unfair as well.

He is going into the season with only one guy at receiver that he has any familiarity with.

This front office has done some great things, but they really screwed the pooch this offseason with regard to receivers.

I feel like the front office is ok with wasting a year of Tom Brady in his prime!

I still can't beleive they didn't try to keep Andre Davis. He was really coming around at the end of the season.

Just a few post ago, you said Daunte can't win big games. So I guess that means he won a playoff game huh? Thanks for proving my point.

As for the Brees thing, Miami could've had which ever one they wanted. Drew's shoulder didn't test out during his physical. That's why Miami didn't bring him in. Saban knew that Culpepper was the better choice and I'll take his word over yours any day.

You think the media is just making it seem like Miami is good? That's just ignorant dude. Any one who won't admit that Miami is much better is a way bigger homer than I am. You can still think that NE is going to win because yes, they have a good football team. But saying that Miami is dog **** is just shear ignorance.

I've seen Daunte run all over the field and make big throws down field this preseason, so he'll be just fine there.

Im calling it right now, 80 yard bomb Brady to Gabriel first offensive play next sunday

The Pats Huddle.....

Brady: OK Guys, here's the play, You, over there, 17, whatever your name is, yo run down the right side of the field and when you get to the white line on the field with the number 35 on it, you stop and turn around.

17: OK, but does 35 come before or after 40?

Brady: You, the guy with the 88 on your shirt. Yeah, you, stop looking at your shirt to see what your number is. You go down the left side and when you get in between the two guys withthe white shirts, you run to the inside and keep running.

88: Sounds good to me. Now, which is my left, and which is my right.

Brady: And last, but not least, you over there, 81...Hey 81, what the hell are you doing?

81: Wow, did you see that cheerleader when she did the high kick?

Brady: 81, get with it, we have a play to run. Now, you go straight down the field, run about 65 yards, real fast, do a long post pattern, then stop, come back about 20 yards, wave your hands in the air and start yelling "i'm open, i'm open" ...and I'll fake it to you.

81: Yeah, got it.

Brady: Ok, guys , now that we got that all straight, lets break the huddle.

17: But Tom, who do you throw it to?

Brady: Listen 17, do you think I'm stupid enough to throw it to any of you clowns. I have a reputation to uphold. It's a handoff to Corey. Now, let's go and get em......

Whatever they adjusted your meds to NEM, keep taking it. Best and funniest post of the pre season.

Gabriel is a nice addition, but he isn't even a top 32 WR in this league.

So he won't know how to run a go route?

Instant classic.

Funny as hell,

yet depressing all at the same time

Remind me who Miami has that is in the top 32 WR in the NFL? And who else is suppose to catch the ball from highly mobile Culpepper??

Have you ever herd of this kid out of Wisconsin? Yeah, he's pretty good. He runs a 4.5 40 and has a 48 inch vertical jump. His name is Chris Chambers and he ranked in the top 10 in the AFC in catches yards and TDs last year. You might want to consider him in your list.

I'm just saying you guys are getting way too excited about him. Don't get me wrong, he's the best you've got. But that's not saying a lot at this point.
