Cobb makes snow angels in Green Bay and that's fine. Welker does it and it's unsportsmanlike conduct and a $10K fine. The 49ers were also fined for the same celebration earlier today.

Lambeau Leap is also okay, while doing the same leap anywhere else is a penalty. Grandfathered...why?

And of course Brady doesn't change air pressure but gets a massive witch hunt. Rodgers openly admits inflating the balls above and beyond the legal limit and nothing.

As for the snow angel, the technicality I expect the league to pull out of their ass is that Cobb was already on the ground when he performed the act, while the others went to the ground, which is cause for a flag. After watching this sport for decades, I still don't know what the **** a catch is either.

4 game suspension, 1st and 4th round picks forfeited for....uh...something alleged that never really occured. Please do not look to the NFL for any semblance of a moral compass

You can do Lambeau leap in any stadium

Edit: that it is possible in

You can't in the Razor...unless you call jumping into an end zone ****tail lounge a "leap"...it'd be more like a stagger I'd guess...

That's a complete BS comparison. What Brady was (falsely) accused of was having someone screw with the balls once they were submitted to and measured by the refs. What Rogers admitted to was submitting too-hard balls to the refs and hoping the refs didn't notice. Big difference.

I thought I've heard it said well a hundred different ways, but I don't think you could put any more succinctly and clearly than that - "something alleged that never really occurred".

Was just amazed at the simple genius of it, that's all.

Was Welker's snow angel back in that Arizona game from 08? Man that was a rout.

Park ave said this morning, that wasn't a snow angel. Packer fell down, and due to slippery conditions, was just struggling to stand up.....

So...just to be clear here

  1. The players like it
  2. The fans like it
What is the problem then? Why is this a penalty?

True but, Rodgers did make a conscious effort to skirt the rules and in the process, undermined the integrity of the game.
