Funny that this article which stated that NO team with a losing road rocord has ever advanced to the Super Bowl in history was a few months before the Colts who were 4-4 on the road won SB 41.

But nevertheless the odds of winning a championship are still severely against a team that can only win the majority of their games at home and that is what this years Patriots are - Home Heroes and Road Rot.

1 team in 43 Super Bowls not only winning but even getting to the Super Bowl with a losing or even road record does not seem like good odds and that is what we face regardless if the team wins out,the best would be 4-4.
