God bless him. Every time I see a Patriot QB prospect get a shot elsewhere I am happy. There's not a more thankless job in the NFL than being Tom's backup. Dude is possibly the best ever to play the game, certainly top 5, and he wants to play 'til he's 50. He doesn't even show signs of defecting a la Brett. So I guess Ryan Mallet is now my favoritest backup anywhere. Meh. It's always been a matter of how long Tom lasts, and he doesn't show any signs of letting up.

Sad that Rohan Davey never had a team to command... I just liked his name.
