The critics have blasted them all season, but Sunday night the Patriots defense proved that they really are better than people think.

@ryjacques U watch stupid. they pay nfl because you watch. so stop watching. do us both a favor.

@rtmcnamara @ryjacques Then why you writing to me? I didn't write u.

@ricked82 Not that I've heard of. I doubt it.

@PeterIBreen it's weird because he knows football. Just a strange blind spot

@ricked82 By every statistical measure, any analytic, Ryan and Brady were 1-2 this season.

Did you know that Mike was asked to coach? 92. ... 93. ... https://t.co/F4wsYrzaS0

Patriots knew exactly how Steelers would react, to the point that Edelman never stopped moving, started walking to new spot.

That was the Patriots toying with, out-coaching the Steelers. One team was playing chess, other checkers.

Are the Patriots the worse 5-1 team in football?

Okay, so let's take a look at the logic here...

    1. You make a terrible thread. Moronic, even. Without the slightest hint of analysis.

    2. I, among others, point out that this is a terrible thread. Moronic, even. Without the slightest hint of analysis.

    3. Your response to that is to tell me to go create a thread that ISN'T terrible. Not moronic, even. With a ton of analysis.

Why the hell would I do that when the job should have been done by you in the first place? Tell us what makes the Pats the worst 5-1 team in football. What the hell do you even mean by that? Do you mean that we shouldn't be 5-1? Do you believe that the defense isn't a 5-1 defense? Do you believe that the loss of Randy Moss means that we aren't a 5-1 offense? Do you think that we lucked into any of these wins? If so, how? Do you mean that we're not a 5-1 team because the Steelers and Jets rosters are more loaded? If so, give us a roster comparison and tell us where we fall short? Do you believe that the last two wins without Randy Moss shouldn't be looked at in the way they are because you feel that the Ravens #8 and the Chargers #1 pass defense rankings are overrated? If so, put up the statistics of the opposing quarterbacks they faced and tell us why.

Do you see how many different ways you could have attacked this one? So, instead of deflecting blame off of yourself for making an absolutely putrid thread and telling me, for whatever reason, to pick up your 5 tons worth of slack... why don't you do a better job in the first place so this isn't an issue. Believe me, if you make a five star thread, I'll be the first to pat you on the back. If you make a sh!tty thread, I'll be the first to pile on.

Instead of over analyzing my thread with a half backed thesis on posting ethics you could avoid it completely. But of course that requires self control from someone who can't "help himself". Was that even a serious response?

It's not over analyzing it. I'm giving you some tips to post threads for future reference that actually have substance behind them. Not some half assed, "IS DIS TEEM DA WORTS IN FUTBALL" in the title and a virtual "discuss" in the actual thread itself. Don't take my help if you don't want to. Should you choose not to accept my help (it doesn't appear that you will), then enjoy having the rest of your threads moved to the Practice Squad forum. After that, enjoy having the ability to make new threads stripped from you after the mods get tired of doing the former.

And no, that was obviously a joke.

TB=TD, let me be honest with you and tell you that this thread is a truly bad one. The other members here do not owe you respect or an explanation.

TB=TD does not have any concept of actually knowing that he's done something wrong. To him, he's in the right and actually has no idea why the rest of the forum that reads this thread is saying that the thread sucks.

Substance is not required on an internet message board. I didn't realize each post should qualify for mass approval. You sure do take yourself a bit seriously.

It's not required, but it's preferred. If you're going to post a thread without substance, then admit to doing so (which is what you just did in the quote above), then why do you start to b!tch when people call you out on your terrible thread? If you know that it doesn't have substance, then the fact that people say it's terrible shouldn't surprise you. Yes? Oh wait, I got it: it's not your fault that you posted such a terrible thread then continued to whine about it after getting called out. It's my fault. Do I have the formula down now?

And no, I don't take myself that seriously at all. But please, let's throw up more red herrings.

You know what? Nevermind. You're completely hopeless. I had kept you off of ignore in hopes that maybe one day your posts would suck so much and you might become readable. We all had to start somewhere, after all. But ausbacker had it right. I should have put you on ignore right off the bat. I think I'll go ahead and correct that mistake. Enjoy the Practice Squad forum.
