imho yes, but I think I might be a little biased

Definitely top 4. Hard to pare down from Pats, Ravens, Steelers, Jests.

I'd say thus far it's:

1. Steelers
2. Jets
3. Pats

Jets very well could lose today, so the Pats might move to #2.

yah mon..........

I'm still laughin at ppl who were chirping me for being confident in our corps despite not having moss....

who is laughing now?

Deion played well above what I expected in a 1st game return... there really is great chemistry there.

I don't know yet, but seems the players have heart!

Wow. Saying the Texans are a better team than the Patriots it's one of the most ridiculous things I've heard in some time.

Hopefully we can see a matchup in wild card weekend

I think the Texans are not as much of a joke as you think..just like NE it took them a while to wake up today

Good teams find a way to come back from big deficits, just like NE did,Houston did as well

The Ravens beat the Jets who beat the Patriots who beat the Ravens who beat the Steelers. Steelers have yet to beat the Ravens, Jets, or Patriots.

So I'd say,

1a,b,c. Patriots, Jets, Ravens
2. Steelers

In the AFC? Ravens, Steelers, Jets (blurgh). In fact I think Indy are better too.
Hello, we just Beat the Ravens. Indy haven't looked very good this year.

Sorry, your argument automatically falls apart when you put a team they just beat on top of the Pats in the rankings. I can see the Jets since they handled the Pats. Steelers are tough, we'll see who's better when the Pats face em in November. The Pats will be facing all of the rest of these teams again. Wins will put to rest the argument of who is in fact elite.

Ranking the AFC today I'd say:

1. Steelers
2. Jets
3. Patriots
4. Indy
5. Baltimore

This ranking will be actively readjusted as needed after the Indy, Pitt, and 2nd Jets games respectively.

Baltimore, Pittsburgh, NY Jets, New England, Indianapolis, New Orleans

Those are the best 6 teams in the NFL.

Houston, NY Giants, Philadelphia have to be close 2nd tier.

Id rank them

1. Pittsburgh
2. NY Jets
3. New Orleans
4. Baltimore and New England Tie
6. Indy
7. NY Giants
8. Houston
9. Philly

As a former head coach of the NEP once said, "you are what your record says you are"

I think if we played the Ravens five times though, we'd lose four. And they still have Reed to come back as well. As for Indy, same again. I think Manning would pick us apart and they'd do enough to stop us when required.

While everyone is crowning the Jets a top 3 team, lets note they're losing to Denver and Sanchez's almost interceptions are becoming interceptions.

Who do you see having the better record at the end of the year? Who will go deeper into the playoffs? And I notice you have the Jets above the Ravens - remind me who won that game?

As I said to reflex, if we met five times in a row, I'd expect to lose four. That's why I think they're better than us and one of the top three.
