Wondering if Rex being a Bill will change your feelings.

I'll maybe start hating the Bills when they start becoming relevant.

I actually admire their fan base (mostly)!

I think the Jets were so incredibly hated because of Mangini followed by Ryan, talk about an awful combination for Patriots' fans. They both did everything in their power to earn that hate.

Who knows with Bowles, he hasn't talked **** yet and I don't think he's stupid enough to do so.

Ryan has wasted little time in bringing attention to the Bills, they were irrelevant, but suddenly having a decent roster (on defense at least) and a HC who demands headlins, they may quickly vault from "who?" to "I can't f'ing stand those guys, holy crap."

right now there is no other team other than the patriots i would like to see win the superbowl more than the bills. i like rex and would love to see jets fans having to watch him raise a lombardi in buffalo.

I've always been hoping something good happens to buffalo ever since visiting Niagara Falls. Maybe a sweep of the Jets and dolphins. Watch out for lake effect Rex.

No.

It'll always be the Jets. Rex Ryans bombastic bluster is irrelevant to me. But Buffalo will be a good team if they get a half decent QB. They're real good defensively, although I don't buy that Ryan will make them better, they're already elite. Watkins, Woods, Goodwin & Chandler are legit and CJ Spiller is a real threat when healthy. On paper they should be very competitive.

Assuming the Pats weren't in contention, nothing would be more hilarious than Rex winning a SB for the Bills. Oh I'm sorry, there would be one thing more hilarious--if he won it with the Sanchize at QB.

Pity maybe, hate no. Stay tuned, Rex is coming into a kickass defense and a pyss poor offense. Have to see is he will be able to put it all together.. his signing of Revis will not accomplish this goal as the O is pathetic. You can only make a defense so good..

He needs a quarterback that can play in the NFL.. Mark Sanchez, maybe?? Or maybe he will cash in a few chips and move on up the board..

Who can hate Sexy Rexy? I can't believe he took another position in the division, but it makes for better football for fans. The Jets rivalry is much bigger than Ryan. It probably goes back to Giants fans in New England hating the AFL pretenders. It definitely goes back to Parcels, Martin, Belichick, and Mangini.

Hate is not the same as rivalry. If the Bills or Miami split with us every year, I would still enjoy Jet beat downs. The Ravens and Broncos are our biggest rivals right now. The Bills may become a rival, but they will not be hated like the Jets.

There is no other team in this league that I hate more than the Jets. I respect the Bills. I feel sorry for their long suffering fans. If Rex brings them success, good for them. As for the Jets, I hope they SUCK FOR ALL ETERNITY.

The mention of Spygate is enough for me to hate and despise that franchise forever.

Nah. I'm a live in the moment guy. Right now I hate these guys.

Rex went from irritant to irrelevant.

I don't like people with rex's loud mouth ego. Already stating it as fact that the bills are going to the playoffs and winning titles and blah blah blah.

Rex is so focused on trying to beat the patriots, he allows himself to be beaten by everyone else.

The Ravens are still #1, but Buffalo has vaulted to #2 merely by hiring that stunningly overrated douchenozzle.

I still have a stronger dislike for the dolphins, broncos, raiders, and cowboys than for either the jets or the bills

Not yet. But as they have become more relevant in the division and since Ryan knows how to defend this offense, the hate for them will probably skyrocket this offseason and into next season. Especially with as many digs and soundbites that are going to come from Buffahole this offseason.

We hated Rex because he was a Jet, not we hated the Jets because Rex was a Jet. Rex in Buffalo has no bearing on how I feel about them.

I never minded the Jets until SB 31, then Curtis Martin. Fuel has been added to the fire of late, but they are still numero uno. I have disliked the Cowboys, 49ers, Broncos, Colts, Raiders, and recently the Ravens. Those will fade as the teams lose relevance. Jets have not.

goes back to parcells, martin etc. no it goes back much farther than that, at least for me. i think with myself and others it goes back to a Least the early seventies. i can't even give you a logical reason why i have always hated the jest, other than they're the jest.

Not even close. Part of that is, having gone to college in upstate NY, a good number of my friends are Bills fans and I've been to a number of games out there. Their fans are great, they're a tortured bunch but keep coming back for more and drown their sorrows in alcohol. They don't boast like other fans (ahem...Jets) before the season, there's always a case of hopeful optimism with a splash of dread, they're not blindly unrealistic as other fans are.

End of the day, when the Pats run ends (and it will end, whether it be Brady retiring, Belichick retiring, maybe if we're lucky it'll be 15 years from now when perennial Pro Bowler Jimmy G hangs em up) I actually want to see the Bills take over the AFCE reins, their fans deserve it.

The Jets will always be the hated division rival, and it's because of their fanbase. Period end of story. The few Jets fans who I went to school with were arrogant asshats before every season, and I've seen the same from other Jets fans I've encountered. They're entitled without any reason to be. Jets fans mostly hate their team by the end of the season but come training camp they act like their team was the best once again.

I'd love nothing more than to go through my entire life without the Jets enjoying another winning season.
