Are people ACTUALLY worried about the O?

Exc. analysis; unfortunately, I fear that their flaws may not be correctable during this season. What is required to correct them is a change in philosophy, and therefore a change in personnel. A re-committment to the running game likely cannot be made in-season, because it requires a FB, perhaps a new Center & LT, and a new - or rediscovered - chapter of the playbook.

Perhaps the face-slap of missing the POs 2 consec. years will be the wake-up that this organization desperately needs.
They don't need to become a power running team that requires wholesale roster changes. They simply need to be decent, enough to keep the D on their toes in guessing if the next play is a run or pass. I firmly believe they have the talent to do that.

The biggest problem now is that the Pats' formations are ridiculously predictable: Shotgun = pass, Under center = run. Often, the shotgun formations are even worse in that Brady has nobody back there with him for even the threat of a draw. Good defenses look even better when they can play to the formation and be right 90+% of the time on the run/pass guess.

Regards,
Chris
