Apprently many of the other 31 teams have changed heart about Deflategate

Highly recommend reading this full article though. Many exec's have similar complaints about the commissioner it seems.

This is good reporting though and gives me a very slight sense of vindication. Can't wait until ESPN picks it up so it gets more traction.

Just kidding there's no way in hell that will ever happen.

If a couple more teams like the Chiefs get the book thrown at them that could change.

Once the first owner or GM speaks up, several may join.
Might take more than simply speaking up though, and I wonder if Goodell and the rest of the league already know who the fearful and cowardly owners are (Kraft), and which teams can't be pushed around. Meaning any team owner with a backbone may never have to deal with this sort of garbage, so they can forget ever having any real opposition to Goodell, because he and the FO might be picking their battles wisely.

It seems unbelievable that any team would want the hated Patriots to have their draft picks returned. It's like Tokyo rooting for Godzilla.

Team officials could not remember a penalty as harsh for tampering as the one Kansas City received. In 2008, the 49ers were penalized a fifth-round pick for tampering with linebacker Lance Briggs. The Lions were penalized a seventh-round pick for tampering in 2011. Jets owner Woody Johnson was fined $100,000 for tampering with Darrelle Revis in 2014. None of those penalties was as severe as the Chiefs'.

I'm hearing through an unnamed source that a rival exec had a soft stool around 8:39 AM after his morning coffee.

1. Are we getting the picks back?

2. Is Tom's suspension being rescinded?

If there is a "yes" to both I will hose my shorts right now. If there's one "yes" I would be mostly psyched. But my guess is both answers are "no" so I'll go right back to not giving a single ****e what the other 31 think.

^ Glad you mentioned Stalin. He picked an enemy, then after they were gone, another and another. Absolutely nobody can feel safe. After 30 years of this, Khrushchev, Beria, etc. sensed they would be in the next purge, and while it can't be proven poisoned Stalin. Funny part is KGB chief Beria alternated between crying and cursing Stalin as he was fading - depending on if he thought he was going to live.

Goodell has whacked a number of teams. My hope is their frustration will eventually surface and every team will realize they could get docked with BountyGate or DeflateGate penalities at anytime and get Goodell.
